Our Autumn term begins on Tuesday 12 September. We’ll rehearse every Tuesday except for 24 October (half term), in preparation for our concert on Saturday 9 December at St Mary Brookfield.
This term, we’ll be singing Mozart’s Coronation Mass and several shorter Christmas-themed pieces. We’re also excited to announce that we will be singing a new Christmas carol by local composer and our occasional stand-in director, Philip Godfrey.
Fees for the term: £45 cash or cheque payable to “North Camden Chorus”); but free to full-time students. The fees pay for our rehearsal space, subsidise the concert and pay for hire of the scores.
Please come along to the first rehearsal at 7pm to pay and register for your music copy. Usual rehearsals after the first week will begin at 7.30pm and end at 9.30pm.
New singers – if you’re joining us for the first time, please email us to get added to the mailing list.
Returning singers – join us on 12 September to register for the term. If you can’t get to the first rehearsal, you’re still welcome to join but please email us and let us know when you will start. It helps us to keep track of the likely size of the choir.
We look forward to seeing singers old and new in the Autumn. Until then, enjoy the rest of your Summer!
Looking ahead to 2018…
For those of you who really like to plan ahead, we also have our Spring concert date confirmed as Saturday 17 March at St Mary Brookfield.
