Our Summer term began on Tuesday 2nd May, so this post is already late. We’re having just five rehearsals: every Tuesday until 6th June except for 30th May. And we’re learning a few short pieces.

We’ve so far learned a setting of a song by Mark’s great-grandfather arranged for choir by Mark himself. And we’re working on some traditional gospel music as interpreted by Tippett.

We should be aiming for a party on Friday 9th June where we’ll sing our pieces to invited friends, family and ourselves. All singers will be welcome then, regardless of whether you can make this term. We can’t confirm the venue for this get-together yet; watch this space and the mailing list.
